  Classic Motor Cars (CMC) - If you don't know them, they are the people who restored the Aston Martin Bulldog that finally delivered its 200+mph potential last year. They have great facilities and an extensive array of classic cars to tickle our automotive tastebuds.
  
  We have secured a coffee morning visit and tour of their extensive facilities for a maximum of 30 people on Saturday 1st June 2024.
  
  Please book your place and I will come back to everyone who's registered with any final details. The cost is £10 per head, payable in cash on the day or in advance through me.
  
  I am also trying to arrange a visit to another nearby business of interest on Friday afternoon 31/5, but that's proving a little slow at present. This additional aspect may appeal particularly to those people driving a substantial distance.
  
  All that said, I (and some others) will be staying nearby on the evening of 31/5 and so it can be more than just a morning workshop visit.

  We have been invited by Henry, Lord Digby to visit Minterne House to display our cars, have a light lunch, a talk and tour of the house and then to explore the extensive gardens.

  There is space to accommodate up to 35 cars parked outside the main entrance (which will make a great photo).

  The cost per person is £16.50 (payable in advance). I have been there before and can confirm it's a lovely setting/tour.

  Children are also welcome and so this might be an ideal day out on Father's Day!

  "All classic car clubs in the UK are invited to come and hold their national weekends collaboratively, as part of ‘The Inter-Club International Weekend’ to take place over the
  weekend of 28-30 June 2024 at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern, Worcestershire.
  
  The Inter-Club International Weekend will be an exciting, engaging and lively show packed with entertainment and attractions for all the family. There will be trade stands offering car accessories, crafts, food and more plus lots of non-motoring attractions. For the classic motoring fans, there will be Concours D’Elegance, autojumble, live action arena, indoor and outdoor car displays, evening entertainment, live music, Auto-Test and local runs with marque-specific display areas for attendees’ cars to be enjoyed by all.
  
  

  It is expected that the showground will open on Friday and the event will run through to Sunday afternoon. Camping will be available as an alternative to the many superb B&Bs and hotels in the Malvern Hills and surrounding areas."

  Bristol Motor Club will be holding a Classic and Performance Parade at Castle Combe Circuit in Wiltshire.
  
  We welcome any Performance, Sports, GT and Touring Cars, whether Production, Kit or Replica, Historic, Classic or Brand New, as long as cars are road registered.
  
  The highlight of the event, and as the name suggests, is that we are able to offer parade lap sessions of the legendary Castle Combe circuit. There will be three on track sessions, one in the morning and two in the afternoon, held under a pace car at moderate speed to eliminate the need for special safety clothing or helmets. What’s more you can even take passengers, so if your car has enough space, the whole family can experience a few laps of this great circuit. We have to emphasise though that this event is in no way a track day.
  
  Entry to the event is free if you just wish to display your vehicle; it is also free to spectators, however there is a small charge, payable in advance, to take part in parade laps.
  
  On top of the static display of vehicles and track action taking place there will also be the opportunity to walk or cycle around the circuit during the lunch break. Hungry or thirsty? The on-site Bistro restaurant facility will be open all day for snacks, drinks, and cooked meals.
  
  Bristol Motor Club is proud to offer this event in a friendly, safe, and informal way, for Classic and Performance car enthusiasts of all ages.

  No formality and no need to pre-book. Turn up any time between 10:00 and 12:00 to suit you. Enjoy a coffee in the cafe and a good chat with fellow car enthusiasts. You don't need to pay to enter the cafe but the museum is worth the entrance fee and lasts for 12 months if you haven't been before.
