A great weekend at the Legendary SPA circuit in Belgium. I have been 4 times to classic SPA. It does not get too crowded so you get to drive around the internal access roads. (It is a very long track to walk around)
Gary Ungless is organising a group to book through Travel Destinations. They have the best parking in the F1 paddock, along with free Tea, Coffee and biscuits. Refreshments are served in their own room above the old pits. From this room you can look down the old start finish to Eau Rouge (See picture).
You will have to book directly with Travel Destinations. If you register you will be Emailed as soon as booking for 2023 are opened. I have used this company many times they are excellent. I would recommend staying at the HOTEL VAL D’ARIMONT . This where all the PistonHeads stay, and the nights in the bar are long.
For the more boring people that want some sleep and/or need to impress their partner, wife, mistress etc. Book the really nice HOTEL VILLA DES FLEURS option available with Travel Destinations.
Really hardy and stupid people may want to camp to save money. Speaking from experience. It gets really cold in the Ardennes at night! (See picture)
Track laps are available, and they do not hang around!
Car Parking at the circuit: – If you are arriving at the event in a classic or sports car, infield car parking will be included free of charge in your booking. Travel Destinations will have an exclusive reserved area inside the circuit . (See below)
– If you are arriving at the event in a modern car or other vehicle, you will need to purchase a car parking pass for the outside of the circuit.
If you register the events organiser (in this case Gary Ungless) will automatically get a copy of your registration confirmation.
