That’s a wrap! – Isle of Man Festival of Motoring 2026
This years edition, the “Best of British” brought together over 600 motoring enthusiasts for a long weekend of driving heaven, car displays, museum visits and unique experiences across the island.
The event kicked off on Thursday with a Fun Run and Island Introduction, giving participants the opportunity to explore the island before gathering with their cars at the idyllic fishing village of Peel beneath the Viking Castle. The Fun Run includes stops at iconic landmarks like the Sound and the Bungalow and drives on the TT Course and Tholt-y-Will Glen.
Friday is all about driving, participants enjoyed an exclusive closed-road run on the Sloc Road, alongside visits to the Isle of Man Motor Museum and Jurby Transport Museum. Those who opted for the Pie in the Sky evening at the Victory Café on Snaefell Mountain rounded off their day with a homemade pie and some dancing.
Despite the traditional Manx weather this year “Sloc day” was still a standout inclusion on the event itinerary.

On Saturday, the cars headed to Douglas Seafront for one of the biggest event displays we have ever seen. Over 300 cars gathered on the seafront for an incredible display with a very eclectic mix of not just British cars, but cars from all eras, makes and model, alongside local enthusiasts from the Manx Classic Car Club. As always Sporting Bears Dream Rides were on hand to offer once in a lifetime passenger rides all in aid of local charity Looky’s Aid. The festival reaches its highlight on Sunday for what we call “TT DAY”, closed TT Mountain drive, beginning with cars gathering at the TT Grandstand before a police-escorted motorcade travels along the famous TT Circuit to Ramsey. Participants then take part in closed-road runs on the TT Mountain Road, followed by lunch at the famous Creg-Ny-Baa. Lots of big smiles as the cars arrive at the Creg with owners claiming it’s the best driving experience they have ever done. Lunch is then followed by an exclusive photoshoot at the TT Grandstand where our photographers capture that memorable moment.
The festival concludes with the optional Gala Dinner allowing owners to share their favourites moments with each other from the weekend. A glass is raised to thank all our wonderful suppliers and volunteers. Once formalities are out the way, time to enjoy and get your dancing shoes on!

For those who extend their stay a little longer on the island they can opt for our Monday Steam train ride and Afternoon Tea from Douglas to Port Erin. Those onboard enjoyed afternoon tea style lunch, tea and coffee.
The Festival of Motoring offers driving enthusiasts (and their passengers) the unique opportunity to experience the Isle of Man to the fullest. With a combination of closed-road driving, iconic TT locations, museums, public displays and social events there’s something for everyone.

The preferential booking window closed on 21st March 2025. Please ensure you book your place and pay your deposit on or before 21st March. This event is immensely popular and usually sells out very quickly. We were privileged to have that priority booking opportunity through our recommended supplier, Scenic Car Tours (SCT), which resulted in almost 90 people booking their places.
It's not too late to book your place but don;'t delay as you may not be able to stay or sail with the rest of us.
The popular ferry times will sell out very quickly (e.g. circa 50 car slots per crossing with circa 300 cars to fit across the popular arrival dates of Wed and Thur, meaning if you missed the preferential window, you may now be forced to travel on an entirely different day).
On a more positive note, Aston Martin is now confirmed as the 'Marque of Honour'. That means we will have pride of place in static displays and be at the front of the queue for the mountain runs, etc. That will not only look (and sound) great, but also means less chance of being caught up in any local problems that cause delays, road closures, etc. as has happened in previous years.
Finally, everyone who booked during the priority window will have first refusal when the optional extra activities become available.
So don't delay, book it today!

At this stage, it looks like the popular choice will be to depart from the UK on Wed 16th Sep and return on Monday 21st Sep. You can choose to increase or decrease your stay in Step1 below.

- Ensure you select the 2026 booking dates and not 2025 (both are shown).

This promises to be a spectacular event with possibly more than 65 Aston Martins from our group attending. Here's why:
- Our deal with organisers, Scenic Car Tours, means we get £50 off and a month's advance booking (i.e. before Joe Public can fill the remaining limited spaces).
- Stay at the 4-star Comis Hotel & Country Club (great and safe parking).
- Closed TT mountain section run.
- Escorted 37 miles TT course (with excited crowds waving at the roadside).
- 2 x Closed Sloc Mountain road runs.
- Private informal dinner evening "Pie in the Sky" at the Victory Cafe. We will get to the cafe by exclusive use of the mountain tram.
- Private track runs at Jurby.
- Visit to the transport museums at Jurby.
- 'Discover Isle of Man' Fun Run.
- Afternoon tea at the famous Creg-Ny-Baa.
- Photo stop at the TT pits.
- Closing dinner for all attendees (i.e. inc. non Astons) at the Comis Hotel.

This is a 5-nights tour starting Wed 16th Sep 2026. However, you can flex your dates/travelling to suit you.
Ferry options are Heysham (14:15 arriving 18:00) or Liverpool (19:15, arr. 22:00).
Prices of packages, accommodation, etc. will be determined nearer the time, based on the level of interest shown. Early indications suggest around £800pp with a deposit of 20% payable when booking.
